BREAKING NEWS: Man killed on Melbourne Construction Site – Duralift
A WORKER in his 50s has died after falling at a construction site in Melbourne’s CBD yesterday afternoon.
The sub-contractor was working for Stilcon at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre Expansion project in South Wharf when he fell from a boom lift about 3.30pm.
Our deepest sympathies are with all those impacted – family, friends and workmates.
Details are not yet known of the incident, but we would like to urge all our readers out there to ensure a harness is always worn when operating a boom lift, and to be aware of your surroundings.
Stay tuned for updates.
